Dr. John S. Stewart, D.O.
Sinus & Allergy Specialist | Otorhinolaryngology & Facial Plastic Surgery
With over 25 years of experience in ENT care, Dr. John S. Stewart is a nationally recognized leader in minimally invasive sinus and allergy treatments. Board-certified in Otorhinolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Stewart brings extensive clinical expertise and a compassionate, patient-first approach to the Breathe Better Institute.
He earned dual degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Grand Canyon University and completed his medical training at Freeman Health Systems in Joplin, Missouri. He went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery under the legendary Dr. Michael Paparella in Minneapolis, MN. A pioneer in nasal endoscopy for skull base surgery, Dr. Stewart has published numerous scientific papers and remains on the leading edge of innovation in ENT care.
Dr. Stewart is known for delivering life-changing results through advanced, in-office sinus procedures that reduce pain, eliminate the need for hospital stays, and get patients back to their lives faster. His care philosophy centers around whole-person healing—focusing not just on symptoms, but on solving root causes through personalized treatment plans and concierge-level service.
Before joining Breathe Better, Dr. Stewart earned top patient satisfaction scores at premier ENT practices in Minneapolis, Starkville, and Scottsdale. Recruited by local residents who wanted to bring his exceptional care to North Alabama, Dr. Stewart is now proud to serve the Huntsville community.
Outside of work, Dr. Stewart enjoys hiking, biking, travel, and movie nights with his family. He and his wife, Jennifer, recently relocated to Huntsville with their children—Nohl (17), Scottlyn (5), and their loyal chocolate lab, Cocoa. Their older children, Morgan (21) and Grayson (18), currently reside in Arizona. Together, the Stewarts are excited to explore their new home and give back to the community, both in and out of the clinic.

Sinus & Allergy Specialist | Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Stacy McGee brings nearly 30 years of nursing experience to Breathe Better Institute, with a career spanning emergency care, pre-operative nursing, primary care, and integrative medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Adult and Gerontology Primary Care from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2020 and holds board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
At Breathe Better Institute, Stacy has received extensive specialized training in ENT, sinus, and allergy care under the direction of Dr. John S. Stewart, a nationally recognized leader in minimally invasive sinus and allergy treatments. This advanced training allows her to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with nasal, sinus, and allergic conditions, working closely alongside Dr. Stewart’s patient-first philosophy.
Before joining BBI, Stacy practiced in urgent care, integrative medicine, and surgical pre-op settings across the Huntsville area, including work within the UAB Medical Center system. Her background includes physical assessments, medication management, lab interpretation, and coordinated care across a wide range of patient needs and age groups.
Stacy is known for taking the time to truly listen to her patients, building care plans around the whole person rather than a single symptom. She is excited to join the Breathe Better Institute team, where she has the ability to treat the patient, not the clock, spending real time with each person to get to the root of their care.
Outside of work, Stacy enjoys live concerts and relaxing on her back porch with her three dogs. She lives in Owens Cross Roads with her husband, Brad. Together they have two children and a grandson, with a second grandchild due in September.
